With 10 to 14 days to go from Las Vegas to Crescent City CA, what should we see? Yosemite is for sure. (How many days?) We'd like to check out Carson City and Reno. What else, and what routes? ...

In the Carson City area, Virginia City is fun, at least for a day trip. Ive never camped there.
If you like the eastern slope of the sierras, I like Eagle Lake, which is north of Susanville on road 139. There is dispersion camping, but the RV park in Spaulding is a nice little park with great service and clean facilities.
Along the coast, Mendocino is real nice. We like Pomo RV park.
