Oak Hollow Lake Campground in Highpoint N.C.
Anyone been there? We are thinking of going for the weekend it's not far from our residence. Are the sites large etc. kids are grown so we don't need those amenities.

You might call first to check availability. They don't accept reservations except for the spring and fall furniture market weeks. And I *think* the fall market is going on now. If so, they may be full. The wooded sites are fairly nice but many slope a good bit. There's a middle section for bigger rigs that's graveled and has no shade. Those sites are long but very narrow.
