No. The water was very clean. not sure about October, but last week the water temp was warm. not sure of the exact temp, but we could walk right in! I keep my pool at home around 85deg. the water felt that warm! the outside temp was 92 and the humidity was high. but the water was comfortable. we didn`t see any jellyfish, definitely didn`t see any sharks, that`s not to say they aren`t out there watching you!
