Ok to run a generator at night if no one is around?

And then there's the cost. Looking at starting with an overnighter. If I assume I'm running it 24 hours to keep her happy, @ 0.5gal/hr = 12 gallons, @ $2.30/gal = $27.60, or about the same as camping in a park :-/
