Ok to run a generator at night if no one is around?

Are you familiar with the property? Sometimes there's night air drainage patterns or typical wind patterns you can take into account. Sometimes it's overridden by the weather .

Here in CA , it is typical for air to drain down canyon bottoms at night flowing downhill in the absence of active weather. I was usually pretty successful at locating generator downwind of camp.
