Ok,change in direction! Atlantic ocean in February(ish)!

I previously posted a request for ocean side between Charleston and Savanah and have found out that the water is cold there that time of year. With that being said my husband tells me he wants to be able to swim when we go, soooo, I'm now heading more south for some suggestions!

Ok, can anyone suggest a great ocean front state park on the Atlantic side in the Februaryish time frame! :)

Thanks!
  • In February you probably need to head down to south Florida or the Keys. Even north Florida is too cold for swimming tho I have seen snowbirds try it. Probably the same people I saw swimming in Lake Superior.
  • If you want warm water, you will have to head to south Florida, down around Miami or Key West. That's about the only place you have a good chance of warm water in February.

We are heading to Belize, so we are pretty much guaranteed to have some warm water!!!
