Okefenokee Swamp, Ga.
We are thinking about a trip to this place. Has anyone been there? Is it worth the trip? We have been to the Everglades two times. Are they similar?

We've been to both edges of park (E & W) three or four times and enjoyed it. The park has boat tours and kayaking, and boardwalks, plus a tower on the East edge.
It also has a small historical homestead to tour as well. Distance from east to west is a long drive, but worth the trip. We'd go back again en route somewhere, but it's not a true destination spot all on it's own, but for a few days it's worth the trip.
