Okefenokee Swamp, Ga.
We are thinking about a trip to this place. Has anyone been there? Is it worth the trip? We have been to the Everglades two times. Are they similar?

This past April for Spring Break we visited Okefenokee for a few days. We visit both the East and West side. Not much to see from land you really have to see it from the water. We took the boat tour at both the east and west side. We camped on the west side at Stephen Foster. After doing the guided tour we decided to rent a small john boat on the west side and go back out on our own and do more exploring. We saw plenty of "Gators" and they like to feed on the fish people catch when fishing before they even get the fish reeled in.
