Okefenokee Swamp, Ga.
We are thinking about a trip to this place. Has anyone been there? Is it worth the trip? We have been to the Everglades two times. Are they similar?

We were there two years ago. As others have said, bring what you need 'cause it's "out there"! Cell service when we were there was almost non existent, there was a spot where your phone "might" work according to the ranger that gave us a swamp tour. Speaking of tours, the swamp was a great tour, we saw lots of gators, wild pigs and TONS of other wildlife! We really enjoyed the remoteness and quiet we had while there. It's DEFINATELY worth at least one visit!!
