Looking for campgrounds suggestions along the way, Sites to see and great places to eat on the coast (seafood). Doesn't have to be fancy. We were looking at stopping around Little Rock 1 night, Nashville 1 night, stopping around Greensboro 1 night, Arriving in Havelock over Labor Day weekend. Leaving on Tues and driving south. Any suggestions we would appreciate. We have been to Nashville before and will be stopping in Nashville on the way home and spending a few nights there. Thanks Deb
When planning a trip of that magnitude, here is what I do:
Determine the route (which you have) and then using
TripAdvisor.com look up places to stay, to eat and sights to see near and/or in the town where I plan to stop for the night or a few days. Just enter the town name using the various tabs at the top of the web page. Trip Advisor has much of it all at one website so you don't have to spend hours scrolling through multiple websites.
Addendum: forgot to mention that if I can't pull up campgrounds at the town where I want to stop, I go to
http://www.woodalls.com/ and enter the town and it will give search results complete with ratings of campgrounds.
