one more 4 corners question

Hi Folks,Everyone was incredibly helpful, and we've just about planned out trip to the 4 corners area. What I have from Tucson is 3 nights Grand Canyon, 3 nights Mesa Verde, 3 or 5 nights Capitol Reef depending on whether we go to and spend 2 nights in Canyon de Chelly. So what's the vote - more nights in Capitol Reef, or go to Canyon de Chelly?Thanks,Steve(PS: We've done the Moab parks and the other Southern Utah Parks, so they are not part of this trip.)

I vote yes for Canyon de Chelly. This is a round trip, right? Have you already seen Monument Valley?

When you head down Rt191 you might consider Lake Powell -- Monument --Valley -- North Rim -- Canyon de Chelly -- Mexican Hat -- Antelope Canyon -- Window Rock, and so much more.

Then while you are in Colorado - Mesa Verde you might run up to Silverton, just to cool off.

You could cheat a little and check out Adventure Caravan's Grand Circle tour to see how many days they stay at the various locations. As I remember the visit to 4 corners was one day.

Canyon de Chelly, but don't just drive there and look from above.  Make advance arrangements for a    four wheel drive tour with one of the native guides to go into the bottom of the canyon.  It makes the  visit go from "great" to "fantastic".
