rhagfo, was hoping to get there this Thursday, the 24th and stay through the weekend.
So what did you decide? Did you make some calls about availability? - bikendanExplorer

Coastal Oregon state Park campgrounds were booked up for the summer, months ago.
You could maybe find a Thursday night spot, but forget anything for the weekend.
Your only shot would be a private RV park. - Nutinelse2doExplorer

Newport Marina might be your only option. At that, you might have to dry camp for $20.00 in the parking lot. State Parks will be full, especially on the weekend, till after Labor Day. There are not a lot that will fit your 42' foot fifth wheel anyway.
Tuna and salmon fishing are hot now, so if you can get into the Marina, you will be fortunate.
Your other option is dry camping at Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, or if you are an Elks member, the Elks lodge in Newport might have a spot off Hwy 20. They were full last week though. - golf_bearsExplorerrhagfo, was hoping to get there this Thursday, the 24th and stay through the weekend.
- Us_out_WestExplorerStayed 2 nights at the Port of Newport RV Park before heading up to Tillamook.
Easy drive down to the docks where you can get fresh seafood right off the boats. Lots of good places to eat and shops for the tourist.

Oregon state parks have the length of each space online. IMO, you should consider the Newport Marina RV park, but not the Annex. Waldport KOA might have a couple of spots. The state parks are lovely, but predate such long units...
I agree. Newport Marina RV park is just a nice parking lot, but it is a great location. There is a brewery right next door. Also the Hatfield Marine Science Center and Oregon Aquarium are within a very short walk. Nye Beach is just a short drive and 2 lighthouses. - rhagfoExplorer III

Would like recommendations on OR coast State Parks between Lincoln City & Walport OR that can accommodate a 42' 5th wheel.
Thanks in advance for your recommendations.
When are you looking at coming through, as reservations are highly recommended for that length at any time of year. - rhagfoExplorer IIISouth Beach has listed max site length of 56', likely not many at this length.
