- TyroneandGladysExplorerNot a State Park but one our favorite parks with great beach access is Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort, 90281 Cape Arago Hwy, Coos Bay, OR 97420. Not a camping park but is a great park to visit is Shore Acres.
Harris Beach State Park is great but a bit of a hike to the beach. 90 miles north of Coos Bay is Beachside State Park great beach access. - myredracerExplorer IIHow about Gold Beach then, lol? :R

We stayed at RV Secret Camp RV Park once. On the north side of Gold River. Lovely little CG of only 20 sites. On the inland side of 101 so is warmer. Run by an nice elderly couple who built it many years ago. Recommended!
Where is Gold River? - J_herbExplorer

- F-TROUPExplorerI'm not sure there is a bad SP in Oregon.....
- cpaulsenExplorerHarris Beach(close to the fire)....Humbug....Cape Blanco....Bullards Beach....Sunset Bay.....and Tugman(just north of Coos Bay.
- ORbikerExplorerThe forest fire near Brookings is threatening the city. It might not be a good time to go through there.
- old_guyExplorersunset bay at coos bay is a very nice park and the beach is not far away
- RognBonExplorerSince it's only about 100 miles between the two cities, I would stay at Harris Beach in Brookings and Sunset Bay in Coos Bay.
