I like it as open, and clear view of southern sky for our Dish. Not a lot of overhanging trees.
We also like A47 in the trees a bit more, also a31 & A32, all of the sites listed are over 50'.

What about sunset bay? It's a little further south than I'd like to go but it looks pretty nice

I highly recommend Sunset Bay. There are several sites with full hookups and it is a short walk to the beach.

If you are in the Nehalem area, check out Kelly's Crabs in Brighton. One of the best meals we have ever had.

Check out Harbor Vista Campground in Florence. Lane County park, water & elec. Dump station. Right on the bluff above the harbor jetty. Very private sites, clean. Not on the beach, but walkable!

They are upgrading, adding new sites with full hookups, but has been going slow. May not be any change by next summer.

Thanks so much for the suggestions, I've got some decisions to make (and quickly!). I think we will go with the state parks, I'm just not a huge fan of the wide open rv parks, though Oceanside does look like a really nice spot.
