You're heading north early enough in the year so getting into State Parks especially Sun. Thru Thurs. should not be an issue. Weekends at some may be a problem. Harris Beach, Bullards, Sunset Beach, Tugman, South Beach, Beverly Beach, Nehalem Bay, Cape Lookout, Fort Stevens...All State Parks and all very nice. IMHO Harris, Beverly, and Fort Stevens the top 3.
Neat little towns to check out...Bandon Old Town, Florence Old Town, Newport Bay Front, Cannon Beach.
For good eats...Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay, the view alone is worth stopping. For the best Fish and Chips on the Oregon Coast bar none, Bowpicker in Astoria.
