- YongkieExplorerStay at Premier RV Park if you hit Lincoln City. Out favorite place to hang out.
- RVJimofOregonExplorerI live on the central Oregon coast and while it is a little late should be OK. Sept is a great month nice weather and no traffic.
This year is going to be a record breaker for the local business and that is good as been a long dry spell.

- jefe_4x4ExplorerLast week of Sept., 1st week of October are our favorite times on the OR coast.
jefe - Us_out_WestExplorer57 right now in Coos Bay....but you can expect this on the coast.
- rugermark2ExplorerFall camping on the coast is the best. The parks are really empty and quite. Go for it, you won't regret it.
- amandasgrammaExplorerI lived at the coast for 4 yrs....some of the BEST weather I encountered was in late September and October. Have a ball (even in rain it's gorgeous there)........:) :)
- Pangaea_RonExplorerAnything can happen, but know that it will be wet.
We stopped at a pullout to visit a lighthouse that was about a 1/2 mile walk. I walked up to the lookout to check out the conditions before my wife would venture out for the walk. It was blowing 40+mph and invigorating. I walked to the edge and got drenched, but the skies were clear? I convinced my wife to come along and showed her the great view at the edge of the lookout. We both got drenched, but continued on. As we passed by the lookout, we saw that the stream was actually being blown upwards and drenched the lookout from above. Fooled again?
That same trip we camped at Lincoln City and it was blowing 70 mph. In our old Class C they placed us between 2 large Class A MH's to help keep up on the ground. That also was invigorating.
Edit: It was an amazing trip, Do it. - stickdogExplorerAnytime is a great time on the Oregon coast.

Wanted to go to Oregon all year, but couldn't squeeze it in. We have time from October 16th to the 25th, wondering if it will be too cold by then.
We spent from Jan 20 to March 10 on the Oregon coast this year, other than heavy snow that is a once in a decade event we had a great time and it was not really that cold
October is great on the coast, the Japanese current keeps the ocean a constant 51-54 degrees year round. Hence the climate is mild
