I'd stay at two or three state parks in some different spots. Even that super duper high rated motor coach park that was brought up has everybody jammed together on concrete pads. The very close (public) beach is cool and I'm sure it's a nice place, but just up the road in Beverly Beach State Park you'll pay less than half as much and you'll have a much more scenic campground with more privacy at each campsite. The beach is a little bit more of a walk but is still close at hand. Just my opinion.
I'm a really big fan of the Oregon State parks along the coast in terms of what they offer for the price.
