Orlando - Fort Wilderness or Thousand Trails?
Being a west coaster, I have not been to this part of the country in my RV. I am new to Thousand Trails. I am planning a visit and need to resolve where to stay when we go there. TTrails has the low cost factor in it's favor, downside is drive to WDW. Fort Wilderness - HIGH cost but proximity and their transportation...............also no daily parking fee. FYI - 2 retired 65+s in the RV. (How did 65 years happen????)
Can anyone answer a few questions:
How long is the 9 mile commute to Disney World with traffic from TTrails?
Does Wilderness accommodate easily a 36 footer in most areas or do I need one of the higher cost Premium/? sites if we go there?
Any thoughts on these two parks would be greatly appreciated! Give me your vote on which is best for us. Money does not have to be the deciding factor but could be a tie - breaker. LOL THANKS
