Outdoor kitchen in Yellowstone (bears)?

Is it ok to use an outdoor kitchen here? Cook on the grill? Keep items in the fridge? Of course, assuming we close it up when not in use.

My wife seems extra nervous about this aspect of the trip.

    We were told to NOT cook outside at Fishing Bridge because of bears. Had to have hard shell campers etc. That said, there was a camping trailer and a tent right behind our site with the occupants cooking and hanging outside most of the time we were there. I never saw anyone warn them or tell then to desist. Maybe the bears were on vacation at the beach ;) or the campers just plain lucky
