Didn't stay here, but used the dump station, Wichita Bend RV Park would make a nice overnight site or longer. Price has risen it seems, $17 per day. http://www.freecampgrounds.com
We did a few overnights at the Walmart Supercenter @ 5131 Greenbriar Rd.

There are two other Walmarts as well. We went over to see our son when he was in Tech. School at the AFB.
There is a Walmart Supercenter in Vernon as well.

For perhaps a neat experience, Copper Breaks State Park near Quanah sounds pretty cool.
If time for more than an overnight, Caprock Canyons State Park & Trailway would make a neat place to check out. One I would like to see.
