X2 on Buffalo Bill's SP in North Platte. We stay there every year on our way north and enjoy the quiet. It is a few miles off of I80 and away from town. One year we even stayed an extra day to visit the museum. Also, I have never seen the fairgrounds open when we passed thru so I doubt that it is a viable camp spot.
In Ogallala we have stayed at Country View CG also and enjoyed the stop.
