- nevadanickExplorerIf its not to soon to stop for you i would stay in the parking lot at Cactus Petes in Jackpot.
- bobsallyhExplorer IIAt Twin Falls Wally, there are now signs posted for "No Overnight Parking". But that is out in front of Wally toward the new high school. They now park on the west side back by the automotive area. In Idaho Falls, just off I-15 ramp onto US 20 there is a Wally that is usually loaded with RVs since it is the exit for Yellowstone. Several years ago, there was actually a sign made by one of the soda companies hanging from the automotive area roof welcoming you to do just that.
- Fleet_ManExplorerRVParky.com is another site which lists Wal*Mart stores and indicates if over night parking is authorized at that location.

Has any one ever overnighted at eithe the Walmart in twin falls or in Idaho falls?
I will be doing a long drive from Bay Area California and would need to stop and sleep at either Walmart in route to Yellowstone N.P
Is it safe to overnight at Walmart??
Wal*Mart Locations
The AllStays locator will give you a flag telling you if the Wal*Mart is good for camping.
We always ask and IMHO, they are one of the safer options out there.
Just look it up and give them a call,

Walmart's policy is to allow over night parking at their stores in an area away from the main entrance. All lots have camera security for the loss prevention people, I was one for 6 years.
Not necessarily true.
Many city/county ordinances prohibit this like in California.
I lived there for many years and nearly all the Walmarts I've been to had "No Overnight Parking Allowed" posted all over the store's parking lot, per the ordinance. - Matt_ColieExplorer IIclassctioga73,
Hey, another classic driver....
You need to go to Discovery Owners site and collect the overlays for what ever you are using.
If you want the list as text, you can get that here:
Yahoo Groups. The Walmart lists are maintained very diligently by one Bill Halberstadt and we wouldn't leave home without them....

- TwomedExplorerIdaho Falls ok... walk to Famous Davis for good BBQ.
- hbillsmithExplorerAn open 24hours Walmart is safest. Not all are anymore. Park in a well lit area. That's what I do and it's been fine.
- old_guyExplorerI have in twin falls. we just went in and asked and did so shopping for food and they said yes, so we parked out back. trouble was, some nut with a loud muffler kept driving around the store. but wal mart was real nice to let us park there.
