overnight stop

heading to Utah 10.26. Need to do an overnight stop somewhere near Vegas. Will probably just be stop, eat, sleep. No need for spot, just stop. Any suggestions? We've never been the Walmart camping type but have stayed in rest area or pulled off into the desert and boon docked. We certainly don't need power, have generator, etc.

  • It is time to become a WallyDocker.....

RVparky.com and as an app. Has locations by map and reviews of many places that are free and low cost. There are many more than you might expect.

  • Anyplace that has a lot works for me. Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Mall parking lot, rest area, etc...

Construction on I 15 North through Vegas is a major headache anytime, rush hour much worst. We take the 215 bypass around, a few miles longer but no bumper to bumper. Check NVDOT on road construction for I15.. Last week they closed the entire interstate for a couple miles and you had to take exit and find a way around the construction. Strongly suggest the 215 by pass.
