Paducah KY in June?

A co-worker of the red-head girl is a quilter and one of her works has been accepted for a national touring show. The show will open at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah in June. We are thinking of visiting the show and staying in a nearby campground. It looks like there are several in the area - any recommendations?

Here is another of her quilts that was shown internationally a few years ago:

  • Thanks for the recommendations. Got a reservation at Duck Creek.
  • Fern Lake CG off of Exit 3 in Paducah would be my pick for the quilt show.
  • We've stayed at Duck Creek twice. There is some road noise if you are parked at the front but it didn't really bother us. It's very convenient to get to the quilting museum from the campground.
  • We stayed at Duck Creek, too...nothing fancy, but safe and convenient and perfectly nice for a short stay. They gave us a rubber ducky when we checked in :)
  • We've stay at Duck Creek several times. FHU and cable. New management in the last couple of years. Previous owner had MS and had to retire. Super nice guy
  • We always stay at Duck Creek Good Sam park on our way to Florida since it's just off I-24. It's not fancy but convenient for us.
