Before joining PA, you need to review their site and look at the parks in the areas you're planning on travelling during the validity of the membership. Each park sets their own restriction(s). Some are more restrictive than others.
Some will allow you to use it all year long, some only Sunday to Thursday, some only for a few days out of a year. It's not a membership that you can buy and assume that you can use whenever you want to.
