Persimmon Creek CG in Murphy, NC

Question

This is a small beautiful campground in western North Carolina.  It doesn't show up under the rv.net search for some reason so I wanted to mention it here.  The owners, Karen and Tony, will make you fell right at home.  They have all kinds of information on white-water rafting and all of the other local activities.  The cg itself surrounds a small pond where you can fish, and a rushing creek lulls the nearby campers to sleep.  There are RV sites and separate pretty tent sites and a very clean bathhouse with showers and laundry.  Free Wi-Fi too.

Have friends that use the campground, and they say it is GREAT and WELL RUN!!!

Ocoee Rafting right up the road, along with a great Mountain Bike trail sytem -- Tanasai.

Can't thank you enough! Have put this one at the top of my list to stay. Really appreciate what they say in the "About Us" section:

As campers, they disliked the trend toward miniscule sites and parking lots. Having grown up camping with their families, they wanted to return to the "old fashioned" ideal of camping: truly being outdoors and in touch with nature.
