If the conditions are as bad as you say, perhaps you need to find another park to work camp in or give up work camping all together.
Wait until you have to clean up human waste on the restroom floors!
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I never would have believed it!
Conditions are not that bad, I look forward to every day camping, and maybe if you're a person that can't function without your dog or dogs by your side, then maybe YOU shouldn't be camping. Not everyone wants to be parked next to a rig multiple dogs.
I totally agree with you about the disgusting people, anyone who has RVed for any length of time has probably seen how bad some people can be. No excuse for that type of behavior!
I can function quite well with without my dogs thank you as I campground host 7 months per year and RV full time.
I am just confused you said: "It's nearly every park, not just the one we are currently working. It's the norm these days that so many people bring multiple dogs." " Everywhere we go there are two to five dogs on a site and they brought their human companions along to take care of them."
And then you said: "Conditions are not that bad, I look forward to every day camping."
It can't be both ways. Either it is "everywhere" with terrible conditions or it is not. As other members here have pointed out it is hard to believe it is "everywhere." It is also hard to swallow that you continue to work camp under those conditions.
In 9 years of campground hosting, we have experienced just the opposite. A loose dog now and then? Yes. But we have NEVER seen the conditions you describe. Maybe it is a regional thing?
I do believe that your comments have merit. I just cannot believe that these conditions are "everywhere." If they are, you have had some extremely bad luck.
I sincerely hope that you have some good work camping experiences so that your attitude towards dogs and their owners will mellow a bit.
