If your looking for something a little more off the beaten path, might try HERE
It's an older campground but we fell in love with the setting. Many of the sites had decks over a creek with your picnic tables on. Almost every site was well shaded, which was important to us with a July vacation. Was very quiet during the week and still reasonable during the weekends. FHU's. A nice pool. A concrete water slide you use a mat to slide down. Daughter had a ball.
Nice little store down the street to buy firewood cheap and a grocery store within about 5 miles also. One of our best vacations, we will be going back.
