- rrupertExplorerHere is a tool for finding a campground:CampingRoadtrip.com
- crickeydogExplorerIt's on the southside but we've stayed at the KOA South near Washington, PA. a couple of times. Worked for us.
Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!:) - dblrExplorerAbout 25 minutes east and just off the Turnpike at New Stanton we have used Fox Den Acres when in the Pittsburg area.
- Sharps45120ExplorerRaccoon Creek State Park, near the Pittsburgh Airport - really nice park and under utilized by those who live around here.

Indian Brave in Zeilienople - also have friends who season here and they love it too.
http://indianbravecampground.net/ - jnharleyExplorerThe KOA's located south of Pittsburgh are pretty darned expensive (Washington and Madison). Our choice in the area is Fox Den. Nice campground and reasonable priced.
- realladyat57ExplorerWe stayed at the Fox Den Acres CG on the south side if Pittsburgh and were very pleased. The sites were large and easy to get into. We'd stay there again if we are ever in that area.
- jtbr3ExplorerWe also just returned from Pittsburgh after staying at Fox Den Acres. Sites in lower section were easy and very large. It was also easy access to various highways to go anywhere you want.

X2 - Raccoon Creek SP is a good choice and has some rather large sites. PA state parks are very reasonably priced IMHO. It's north but mainly west of Pittsburgh. - ependydadExplorerAnother vote for Fox Den Acres - we overnighted there last year on our way through. The pool was decent (with a slide- bonus for the daughter). I felt like the sites in the lower area were pretty cozy, but good for an overnight.
My only issue was that a storm rolled through and knocked out electricity for a short time. They must be on a well or something because their water was off for hours. Fortunately, I carry some in my tank all of the time.
