Place to leave a trailer in NOLA

We are planning a camping trip to Louisiana. We are thinking of camping a few nights at Bayou Segrette near New Orleans, but also spending a night or two in a hotel in the city. The question is, what do we do with the trailer when we are in the hotel?

Do any of the campgrounds have a storage area where we could leave it for a night or two? Does Bayou Segrette have a "the campsite must be occupied each night" policy?

    ^^Check to be sure but we've never had a problem, spending a night or two away, while in a campsite.

    We have done this in the past...We just left our trailer at the campsite. Campground doesn't care if you are sleeping or out elsewhere as long as you have paid for the site...

    But, as always, call the campground and ask just to be sure.
