Plans for winter camping?

do key west and tampa count? LOL

We're heading to the Sedona/Cottonwood AZ area for the week of Thanksgiving. Not really winter camping per se. Last year we even wore shorts on some days.

That's our last planned trip until spiting. Already had to winterize the trailer as it's been below freezing here.

I love winter camping. I'll headed for several favorite spots this winter.

Starting around mid September we head for the Smoky mountain area , till around thanksgiving. Then we go south for Christmas.we’re not sure where we’re going this year. We’ve talked about Chattanooga or Vicksburg Mississippi,but haven’t decided yet.

This time of year is opening season for us to resume desert camping and off-roading. Hopefully we get some rain this year to revitalize the deserts. We had zero wildflowers last year, but the year before was the best in memory.

Winter in the deep south is prime camping time. We will go on a leaf peeping trip and later to the Boston area to visit family. We camp year round but tend to stick to the coastal areas in the summer heat.

Staying on the California coast is my plan.
