Plantation in Sevierville Tenn.
Has anyone stayed at River Plantation in Sevierville? Any remarks would be appreciated. Taking 3 grand children this summer,or any other suggestions. Thanks.P.S. What would be favorite space or lot # ...

We have been there. It's OK, but not our favorite. We have 2 daughters.
A friend of ours had trouble with the "security" and his kids riding their bikes. We won't go back.
Our favorite is Pine Mountain RV Park in Pigeon Forge or Jellystone in Cosby. Pine Mountain is right in the mix of things, but is a block or so off of the parkway, so you don't get the noise. The trolley runs through, but it runs through most of the campgrounds in the PF and Gatlinburg area.
Jellystone is about 30 minutes outside of Gatlinburg, so it's about 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge. During the summer, they have lots and lots of planned activities for kids as well as adults.
