The dune grass in our loop made it impossible to see the water and blocked the breeze, making it feel hotter and more nasty that it really was.
I won't likely ever go back, though I do love St Mary's... beautiful country out there.
Lol.. Sorry you had a miserable time. I don't think I'd ever go in the middle summer either. I think I'd pick and choose my destinations more carefully based on the conditions/seasons.
