Port Aransas Area, Texas

I love Port Aransas. Small town feel, but just a few minutes away from Corpus Christi which is more of a "city". If you are a beer drinker, there is the Port Aransas Brewery serving up nice craft beer and awesome burgers. There are many good places to eat on the island. One more thing. If you like candy, what I consider the best candy store ever, Winton's Island Candy, is there. Fill up a bag and pay by the pound (or in my case, the ton!).

You are also set up for some great day trips. There are a lot of things to see within a few hours drive.
