We will be visiting the end of June to see a show at the Gerding Theater at the Armory. Is there a campground in the reasonable vicinity, or will we have to park and hotel it?

We have stayed at Portland Fairview RV Park and it worked out well. We got the one day TriMet pass for $5 and rode buses and trains all day to get around. The bus picks you up right in front of the RV park and takes you to the train at Gresham. Takes about an hour total to get downtown.
Under ideal conditions, it is a 16 minute drive to downtown from the RV park, 17 minutes to the Gerding Theater.
