We will be visiting the end of June to see a show at the Gerding Theater at the Armory. Is there a campground in the reasonable vicinity, or will we have to park and hotel it?

Pheasant Ridge in Wilsonville.That's closer to Portland than Woodburn.
I would also reccomend Jantzen Beach RV park just off of I-5 at the river. We use it all the time to visit my aunt on Terwilliger Plaza. Easy on and off the freeway and there is a Hooters right there too.
