Madison Campground, site C113, Yellowstone National Park.
Great campground and very good site. Not too many at Madison that will handle larger rigs, so make reservations early.
We have stayed at both Colter Bay and Madison. I really enjoyed the campground at Colter Bay so much more. The trees were so dense and lovely. The campsite we had at Madison had a few trees, but I really had hoped that there would be more trees...since it was in Yellowstone Park.
Thanks for sharing all your photos. I really enjoyed them!:B
No prob. Happy to share. As for your comment on Colter Bay, The picture was from the FHU RV site. From your comment, I'm thinking you were likely referring to the Colter Bay campground and not the RV Park. If this is right, I agree that trees and foliage in the 'dry' campground were much more full than the RV park. After comparing the two, we determined that next time, we'd stay at the dry campgrounds at either Gros Ventre or Colter Bay rather than the RV park. Nothing against the RV park, but we value the privacy of the 'older' campround more than we do the full hookups.
