Blacky:
I noticed that you are from Quebec. If we need to have a prescription re-filled, and have no time to do a 1 hour drive x2 to doctor's office to renew, we just simply call our doctor(s), and they will issue a prescription to our local pharmacy. We have no experience having a prescription forwarded to a local pharmacy in the US, however I can "imagine" this being possible IF you have all the local pharmacy particulars in the US, so your Quebec-based doctor's administrator can send the paperwork to the US pharmacy by e-fax or e-mail, or phone. Typically, your Quebec doctor will charge you a $10 or $20 fee to renew a prescription by phone (pay by credit card).
The other issue is: your prescription cannot have been more than a year (~~ or so) issued between appointments.
Good luck!

On edit: an update: apparently, no pharmacy in the US will accept a Canadian doctor's prescription. IF you are a member of the Canadian Snowbird Association, you may want to call them (General Inquiries 1-800-265-3200)
