President Trump donated 1st Quarter salary to Nat. Parks!

I wonder how much of a difference we could make for the national parks if EVERYONE donated their first quarter income! Before jumping on the "criticism" band wagon ... if YOU haven't done it yourself, then don't put down the one who did!

Odummy did donate his name, to a couple of flawed plans though.

Congress does the budget, not the president. He may make suggestions and in the long run does approve or disapprove it. I believe it is quite pleasing that he donated it to a cause that all citizens may enjoy. Not just a few.

If the NPS would just spend their money on park infrastructure for the parks that they already have it would be plenty. Furthermore if they added FHU to their CG and raised the prices to pay for that plus a margin, that would pay for itself and more.

Donating is all well and good, but it means nothing if he cuts the NP's budget. It's like getting a bonus rather than a raise - it lets you buy something you wouldn't otherwise, but it doesn't help your living conditions.
