Tahoe Timber Trails is closed 6 months of the year
Many leave their trailers in TTT all year. It does snow so some precautions are needed for those leaving it in the winter. Tahoe Timber Trails might be out of your price range, however. Most sites start higer than your budget but the campground is very nice and close to lots of outdoor recreation.
