It is an appreciable asset. I bought mine for 28K, and could sell it for more now. It is not a timeshare, but a deeded part of the park. When I go to sell, I will make a profit. So, the cost will be the difference between what I would have made if I kept the money in mutual funds over what I get from appreciation if I ever sell.
There are no fees- the park upkeep is paid for by the non members camping fees, and this is one of the best maintained parks around.
It is also one of the few that store, move on/off, and also have maintenance onsite (these are all fees, of course). I think this is a great model,and wish there were others in a convenient location.
