My sticks and bricks neighbor, who owns a share, claims to have paid $2500 in the late 70's.
I had another family friend offer me theirs for $20000 in 2008 --- of course I didn't want to part with the money as the economy was in full free fall. Unfortunately that deal is long gone, shares are currently ~$30k, so I'm a daily free paying guest of PCV. I kick myself for not taking the risk 5 years ago, hind sight is 20/20.
