Thank you, that's what I'm looking for. Is that 1 amp for your fridge on propane, or is that an average number across several models?

And when you say there are other parasitic loads, is that elsewhere in the RV, or just that the fridge needs 35AH/day?

I've camped at this spot before in the summer; this is the first time with an RV. It was hot but I went swimming a lot. Sat in the shade. Not impossible. Worst case I can cancel the trip early.

I believe 12thgenusa & pianotuna explained it very well. The difference between the control panel power consumption at rest & when the frig is actually running. Total power usage over a 24 hour period depends upon how often the frig cycles & for how long it runs.

Solar is a nice way to treat your battery bank and it may reward you with a long service life.

It's around 0.5 amp. It's just amps, not amps per day or watts per day.

Over the course of 24 hours that would be 24hr/day x 0.5a= 12 amp-hours/day if it ran all the time. It doesn't.

When the gas valve is not on the control board draws about 200 to 300 mA. The gas valve solenoid draws about an amp. It you figure the duty cycle at 50% that's 12 Ah. Add the control board current brings the total to less than 20 Ah per day. If the duty cycle is higher, meaning burning more propane, the amp draw will go up proportionally.

.3 .4 of an amp. Maybe 10 amp hours per day. Make sure the anti condensate coil is turned off.

At least that is what mine have been.

My frig on gas was measured at 0.3 amps.

I have a FW, when its at rest without using it and the frig is on propane it uses .6 amps. That's the frig on gas, monitor panel, radio illumination and propane leak detector.
