Quartzite Boondocking
I'm planning to boondock in Quartzite at the end of January, or perhaps the first week in February. It it very difficult to find a spot nearby? Does anyone have any recommendations for a good place ...

We travel with friends - both of us have 24 foot Class C rigs. The husband of the other couple and myself tried to go from our campsite in his rig to the Big Tent RV show.
The only place to park was the "Enter at your own risk" wide wash that runs off to the side of the Big Tent and of course we accepted the challenge and went into the wash. You guessed it ... we got his Class C stuck in the loose rock layer on the bottom of the wash. Some guy with a big old Tahoe-type monster-tired 4X4 truck saw the whole thing and came immediately to our rescue and pulled us out .... of course we tipped him.
Even four wheel drive on his Class C probably would not have prevented getting stuck. That was one of the situations where flotation is the name of the game.
