Questions for those who've stayed at Buffalo Bill state park

We'll be stopping off at Cody for three nights on our way home from S. Dakota in early July and we're considering the reservable sites. Some reviews I've read say the wind is heavy, and there is road ...

We stayed at the North Fork Campground. The South Fork is closer to the road. There is no road noise at the NF. Lots of space between coaches. We were in Site 88 and would go again. Some wind in the early evening, then calm. We loved it. Be sure to take the dam tour....Dennis
