Quiet side of the Smokies

They're usually referring to the area around Townsend TN. The area has been marketing itself as the "quieter side" for years now and they generally are as compared to Gatlinburg and Cherokee areas. Still all the marketing is working and leading to more people and growth so I'm not sure how many more years the "quieter" will apply. It is close to the park and Cades Cove. Several good RV parks in the area. Convenient to lots of other stuff.
