R V park ,Austin and Grand Prairie Texas
We are planning a trip to the south,need ideas on parks in the cities mentioned in the title..it seems to be difficult to really search them on the web...Thanks.

- Thanks to all,,I think we have decided on LA HACIENDA RV RESORT at Lakeway texas..
- In Austin, we stayed at Oak Forest. Pretty decent place, though our site wasn't great (it was angled compared to the site next to us- felt like our neighbor was pretty close).
Pictures from Austin - My choices would be Loyd Park on Joe Pool Lake for Grand Prairie and McKinney Falls State Park for Austin.
- Emma long park is right on Lake Austin. Power / Water, dump station for sewer. Not a private park (inexpensive). You'll need to get there during the week to get a spot (full on weekends).
- Can't beat Pecan Grove RV Park in Austin for location. It's not at all luxurious, but you're close to all the good stuff in Austin. Be sure to call for reservations. It's about 70% long-timers so they do sell out. Very friendly folks too. Just stayed there last weekend.
- You might want to try Cedar Hill State Park or Loyd Park. Both are on Joe Pool Lake.
