Campgrounds around Lake Okeechobee
I would like help finding a good campground around Lake Okeechobee. The distance could be 20 miles from the lake, 55 and older, up scale. Thank you for your advice.

We stayed at Silver Palms for the months of Jan. & Feb. this year. Great resort if you pay full price & lot of activities. Those who took advantage of the monthly special were often shuffled around & put in unfinished sites. Also beware of the constant bickering between site owners & resort management. We were lucky to be included with the owners due to our long stay but some were not so lucky. We will probably not return,
