Henderson Beach St. Pk.
Has anyone been to Henderson beach State park enough to know about site #47 D? Also what about sight seeing in the Destin area? Thanks, planning a late April trip.

We love this park, in fact we will be there last week of April. The beach is one of the best in the US. Rent a boat and cruise the bay with many bars and restaurants on the water. There is a party spot under the bridge with shallow water and it gets lots of boats anchored and partying. The restaurant row at the bridge allows dogs. I have chartered an off shore fishing boat and limited out on king fish within sight of the high rise condos. If you are into the beach life you will really like Destin.
