Need any and all ideas for things to see and do in Michigan
Going to spend a month or so "Doing" Michigan this summer and would appreciate any and all ideas of things to see and do in Michigan. Thanks one and all.

Definitely do Mackinac. We go every year for the Annual Bridge Walk and stay at Mackicaw Mill Creek (as mentioned above) very, very nice place. Ask for a spot along the lake.
Go to the island and stroll around Mackinac. Take some time to go to the locks. There is an visitor center type thing to learn how it "works" and a schedule of when the ships come through. Take the time to sit in the viewing stand and watch a couple of the transitions.
